Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: 31 August 2025

Who we are

DAWNERA Consulting Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the controller for personal data we process in the UK.

What this covers

This policy applies to our website and direct client interactions, including enquiries and proposals.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, and object to certain uses. You can also complain to the ICO.

Overview

We process personal data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We aim to collect the minimum information needed to deliver our services and run our website effectively.

  • We don’t sell your personal data.
  • We use trusted providers for hosting and analytics.
  • We keep data only as long as necessary for our purposes and legal obligations.

Data we collect

Contact & business details

When you use our contact form: name, email, company, role, phone, and enquiry message. This data is sent to our email inbox.

Usage & technical data

IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, referrer URLs (only if analytics cookies are enabled). We use this to understand site performance and user experience.

Cookies

Essential cookies for site functionality. Optional analytics cookies track site usage only with your explicit consent (see Cookies section below).

How we use your data

  • • Responding to enquiries and providing proposals.
  • • Delivering and improving our consulting services.
  • • Operating, securing, and debugging our website.
  • • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases: performance of a contract (or steps before entering one), legitimate interests (e.g. site security, service improvement), consent (for optional cookies/marketing), and legal obligation.

Contact form & enquiries

When you submit our contact form, your name, email, message, and any other details you provide are sent to us via FormSubmit (our form processor, based in the US). Your data is then delivered to our email inbox at hello@dawneraconsulting.co.uk.

Legal basis: Your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.

We retain enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to your request, typically 6 years for business records and regulatory compliance, unless you ask us to delete it.

Sharing your data

We share personal data with carefully selected processors that help us run our business (e.g. hosting, email, analytics, project tools). These providers are bound by contracts and only process data on our instructions.

We may also share data: (i) to comply with law, (ii) to protect rights and safety, or (iii) during corporate transactions (e.g., merger or asset transfer).

International transfers

If data is transferred outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Retention & security

How long we keep data

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, typically up to 6 years for business records and tax/audit requirements, unless a shorter or longer period is required by law.

How we protect data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices). No method is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk.

Essential Cookies

These are necessary for the site to function (e.g., your cookie consent preference). You cannot disable them without affecting site functionality.

Analytics Cookies (opt-in)
